Access

Hotel du Globe is located in Aix en Provence, just accross the street from the historical center … and just a short drive from all the beauties of Provence (like Montagne Sainte Victoire, wonderfull Luberon, stunning Cassis, antique Arles, wild Camargue …. )

Most of our beautiful city is pedestrian.

Many streets are one-way and you will not be allowed to drive into the historical center.

From the AIX TGV station: A shuttle (every 20 min) will drive you to the main BUS station located in the center of Aix en Provence. See the shuttle timeline. From AIX CENTRE station : We are located at a 15 minute walk.
	By plane
Our airport is Marseille Provence Airport (MRS) : A shuttle (one every 40 min) will drive you to the main BUS station located in the center of Aix en Provence. A taxi stand is also at your disposal at the airport. See the shuttle timeline. From AIX CENTRE station : We are located at a 15 minute walk.
	By bus
From the main bus station: 10/15 minute walk to the hotel. There is also a taxi stand at the bus station for those who have heavy luggage.

Last minute: We would like to advise you that, further to a municipal by-law, the traffic is totally forbidden on the higher part of Cours Sextius right now. But you can easily access to the hotel by driving all the way to the end of Rue Celony, which ends on Cours Sextius, right before the hotel.

Be careful: our street Cours Sextius is a one-way street.

The best is to arrive north from Boulevard Jean Jaurès and then you turn left into Cours Sextius from its beginning toward boulevards Republique and Bonaparte. We are just there on the right hand side.

Where to park in Aix en Provence

* Parking in front of the hotel on Cours Sextius is forbidden. On the lower part of Cours Sextius, after the traffic light, it is forbidden from Monday evening to Tuesday early afternoon, from Wednesday evening to Thursday early afternoon and from Friday evening to Saturday early afternoon. So be very careful and check the panels.

* Few parking spaces are available in our private garage. But you must reserve in advance. Please contact us by email or telephone prior to arrival to request for availability and conditions.

* Several underground public parkings are located just nearby the hotel: Parking Cardeur (the closest), parking Therm’Park, parking Rotonde (the largest and spaciest), parking Pasteur….. The cost is €25 / 24h.

* One other solution is Parking Relais. They are just outside the city center and the cost is less than €3 / day. You can catch a bus to come back to the center (bus ticket included).
